The project under the JNNURM scheme is aimed to provide 107 MLD of water to Guwahati City. As a part of the scheme, Gammon was awarded the contract to construct new 107 MLD Capacity Potable Urban Water Supply Infrastructure. The project include total 8 nos of Reservoirs (situated at Hill top) along with Laying of Pipeline of about 500 kms in Primary and Distribution network.The Major structures are Intake,Reservoirs and Water treatment Plant. As two of the Reservoirs are at a higher altitude, clear water has to be conveyed through Boosting Station.
