With more than a thousand bridges connecting India,Gammon has expertise in the design, engineering and building of bridges. The range includes Arch and Bowstring Girder Bridges, Cable-Stayed Bridges and Balanced Cantilever Bridges to name a few. The Company is adept in the techniques of launching Underwater Concreting, developing supporting equipment like Pneumatic Caissons, Winches, Cables and Grouting Machinery, as well as building supporting structures.

 

Some of the bridges built by Gammon in the 1930’s still stand the test of time; evidence of our technological excellence.

New Brahmaputra Bridge And Road Project Near Tezpur

The project is to augment the capacity by widening the 2-lane road between Kaliabor Tiniali and Dolabari to 4-lane Highway and facilitate safe and efficient movement of traffic ie from stretch Ch-0.00 km on NH-37A to Ch.17.30 km on NH 37A. The project includes construction of 3.015 km New Major Bridge across river Brahmaputra with the total length of the package at 17.30km.
